10-years to take the first baby-step
“Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh” to all my brothers and sisters and “Good Day” to the potential ones. (a greeting inspired by a beloved late Da’i of Islam)
All praise is to the One and Only, Owner of the Heavens and the Earth and all that in-between Who gave me the capacity to express myself.
Today I am writing this post on one of the blessed last ten nights of the blessed month of Ramadan 1442. Exactly ten years ago, during the same blessed nights of the blessed month of Ramadan 1432, I had an epiphany. To water it down a bit, I feel I can call it “an Idea” or maybe just “a thought”, a racing mind jotting down (or let’s just say scribbling) on a small notebook “This is what I want to do!”.
This seemingly “incomplete” first post can be the introduction for now and I will conclude this intro with Mirza Yawar Baig’s quote that I feel will resonate with all like me out there.
In the beginning, it was the thought. It then focused on materials and create the plan. The plan appeared itself into a working model. The model asked, “what happens after me!” the intellect answered, “that depends on what you want to happen. Seek to give and so will you get. Seek to take and it will be taken from you. And the rest is history.”
